Week 1’s Progress

Here’s everything I chugged away at for one week this summer:

  • Made a list of a bunch of Fantasy representing agencies from Manuscript Wish List and Query Tracker
  • Put all those agencies in a Google sheets spreadsheet
  • Researched each agency: which agents rep fantasy, what are they looking for, notes about the agency itself
  • Ended with about 62 agencies (some with multiple agents) I would be over the moon to represent me as an author! They have book covers on their website in my genre, they have a well-functioning website, and they have great reviews from the authors they work with!

Meg Keenan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University in Theatre with a minor in Psychology, which has built her foundations of dramatic writing and storytelling that seeks to emulate real people’s inner conflict and motivations. She works in a library now, surrounded by stories that have inspired her to romanticize life and write books she would giggle and kick her feet to with their humor and swashbuckling schemes.
